USAGE AREA: Center Flex Components / Flex Components
The buttons tray is often used to link to other areas of the website... generally within your site, but it can be used to link to other areas of the global website, without having to recreate the pages' contents. Each row can hold up to 3 buttons.
To attach a page to create the button, click and drag the page in your site tree into the Page Name area of your Buttons field:
You can add additional pages in the same manner, and each page link with create a new button. A dark black line should appear as you are adding other pages, which indicates the order the page will be in in that list. You can click and drag the hamburger icon to the left of the page name list to reorder the buttons.
If you need to connect an existing page that is outside of your site tree, you may submit a support ticket to websupport@morgan.edu to receive assistance.
If you need to connect an existing page that is outside of your site tree in the CMS, a document, or if you need to create a button that connects to an external page/link, we currently utilize the Virtual Link Component to create the external linkage. Email websupport@morgan.edu to have us create a Virtual Link Component for you.
