The redesign has adjusted and created new layout opportunities for our main university website. However, it did not require a change to our web content management system. The Ingeniux Content Management System is still our CMS of choice, and our current web infrastructure has not allowed us to utilize more of its capabilities, due to a very old framework.
Building our new templates within the Ingeniux CMS allows us to improve our web content delivery while not introducing a new way of doing things to our number of web authors and publishers in the system. While there will be some new ways of doing things simply because of some of the new options we are introducing, the general way of navigating and advancing your content from creation to live on the website largely remains the same.
Once we've ironed out some of these new features and processes, our team will be providing new & updated documentation and training for some of the new features offered with the new templates.
